The Vision of the Michigan Aerospace Foundation

Save the Bomber Plant!

We have a great opportunity to obtain an exciting new home for the Yankee Air Museum and preserve an important part of our history.

But, to do that, the Michigan Aerospace Foundation must secure $6 million by August 1, 2013. With those funds, we can preserve a portion of the historic Willow Run Bomber Plant to someday become the home of the New Yankee Air Museum.

Time is short, the fundraising goal ambitious and the stakes high. If we fail, our part of the plant will share the fate of the rest of the building and a valuable piece of our history could well be lost in its entirety.

But, just as the Willow Run workers helped win World War II, we can do this! We cannot, however, do this by ourselves – we need your help.

Do your part. Go to the “Donate” button at the top of this page, click it and give generously.

Charitable Gift Annuities

Stock Market got you down? Are you disappointed by your recent investment returns?
Are you in a position where you don’t know what to do with your low-yield stocks?

If you support the Yankee Air Museum and its efforts to preserve aviation and military history, why not consider a Charitable Gift Annuity with the Michigan Aerospace Foundation (MAF). This gift will eventually go directly to the Yankee Air Museum in the form of building funds or operating capital. It could even be designated for the Endowment Fund.
